r <br />GC-1.0 DEFINITIONS <br />Standard terms used throughout this CONTRACT shall have the meanings hereby assigned to <br />them: <br />1.1 The term "AGRRFMRNT^ shall mean the written agreement between CONTRACTOR <br />and SUBCONTRACTOR covering the WORK to be performed; other CONTRACT <br />DOCUMENTS are attached to the Agreement and made a part thereof as provided <br />therein. <br />1.2 The term "CONTRACT" shall mean the CONTRACT entered into by CONTRACTOR <br />and SUBCONTRACTOR, including all of the Agreement and other CONTRACT <br />DOCUMENTS, and any subsequent CONTRACT CHANGE AGRFFtvrRN't'S signed <br />by both CONTRACTOR and SUBCONTRACTOR. <br />1.3 The term "CONTRACT CHANGE AGRF.F.MRNT^ shall mean the document signed <br />by SUBCONTRACTOR and CONTRACTOR to amend the CONTRACT to provide for <br />changes or extra WORK. <br /> 1.4 "CONTRACT DOCUMENTS" shall mean the Agreement, Bonds, General Conditions, <br />Special Conditions, Specifications, Scope, Schedule of Payment, Performance Schedule, <br /> Health and Safety Plan, Waiver of Risk and Release of Liability, and the Final Release <br /> and Waiver of Lien, as the same are more specifically identified in the Agreement, <br />together with all amendments <br />modifications and supplements <br /> , <br />. <br />' 1.5 The term "SUBCONTRACTOR" shall mean the corporation, company, partnership or <br />individual bound by this signed contract and who will perform the WORK specified in <br /> this contract. <br /> 1.6 The term "CONTRACT PRICE" shall mean the price, taking effect at the time of <br /> execution of the CONTRACT. <br /> 1.7 "DEFECTIVE" is an adjective which when modifying the word WORK refers to Work <br /> that is unsatisfactory, faulty or deficient, or does not conform to the CONTRACT <br /> DOCUMENTS, or does not meet the requirements of any inspection, reference <br /> standard, test or approval referred to in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, or has been <br /> damaged prior to CONTRACTOR'S recommendation of final payment (unless <br /> responsibility for the protection thereof has been assumed by COMPANY at Substantial <br /> Completion). <br />1.8 "SUBCONTRACTOR SUBMITTALS" shall mean samples, manufacturer's data sheets, <br />and all other submittals required by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS to be submitted <br />to the CONTRACTOR for review. <br />' 1.9 "DRAWINGS" shall mean the drawings which show the character and scope of the <br />WORK to be performed and are referred to in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. <br />' 3-1 <br />
