These data are presented in Table 31.
Site visits were made to the springs specified for quarterly flow
measurements when conditions permitted access. The measurements
were made at the appropriate springs if flow was present. These
data are presented in Tables 33 & 34.
Ground Water Monitoring
Monthly static water level measurements were taken at the required
twentyone (21) well locations. The results are shown in Tables 9
thru 29, and on Figures 1 through 21. Water level trends are
essentially unchanged from the late 1984 record. Wells A-1,2,
and3 are added to the record this quarter.
Water Quality
Quarterly surface water quality samples were taken for laboratory
analysis at the North Fork of the Gunnison River above the
Sylvester Gulch confluence, the North Fork of the Gunnison
River below the Bear Mine. The results are shown in Table 35.
Sylvester Gulch was frozen and no sample was collected.
Monthly field parameters of pH, electro-conductivity, temperature,
dissolved oxygen, and turbidity were measured at the flume
locations in the Minnesota Creek basin. Results are shown in
Table 32.
Quarterly measurements of field water quality were taken from
alluvial well SG-1. Neither well WR-2 nor WR-3 contained
sufficient water for measurements of field water quality or
sampling.
SG-1 parameters:
All of the above field
taken during February,
duplicated to serve as
quality laboratory.
pH = 6.9
Cond. = 1129
Temp. = 6.7
and laboratory water quality samples
1985.
