•

1. DIVISION OF MINERALS AND GEOLOGY WATER MONITORING PLAN
SUMMARY
Requirement
Colowyo has committed to a surface and groundwater monitoring plan sufficient to verify the
predicted effects of mining activities. Specifically the plan addresses the following:
1) Monthly flow and quality analysis for two locations on Goodspring Creek and one location on
Taylor Creek; 2) quarterly groundwater level and quality analysis in updip and downdip minesite
wells and a downdip rail loadout well. Results aze submitted to the Division of Minerals and
Geology in an Annual Report. Quarterly monitoring will, at a minimum, include chemical analysis
of all pazameters listed below:
SURFACE AND GROUNDWATER (quarterly)
Phosphate
Conductivity at 25° C
Total Dissolved Solids (TDS)
Total Suspended Solids (TSS)
Mercury
Arsenic
Iron
Ammonia
Nitrate (Wells only)
Calcium
Bicazbonate
Magnesium
Selenium
Nitrate-Nitrite
pH
Lead
Manganese
Sodium
Sulfate
Zinc
SURFACE WATER (monthly)
pH
eC
Temperature
TSS
Flow
surface water -total recoverable metals
groundwater -dissolved metals
Response
Colowyo continues to adhere to the water monitoring plan.
