The initial analysis by Core Labs of the cyanide sample for
the lower pond (930203 BMG 03) showed a CN-wad value
(0.27 ppm) greater than the CN-total value (0.24 ppm).
Also, as noted above the holding time for the initial total
cyanide analysis was exceeded. The sample was re-
analyzed;the results of the re-analysis were 0.08 ppm CN-wad
and 0.16 ppm CN-total. Both reports are attached.
Core Labs reported values of 0.03 ppm CN-total for the RS-5
station (930203 BMG O1) and a CN-wad value (0.03 ppm)
greater than the CN-total value (<0.02 ppm) for well M-9.
An insufficient volume of sample remained for re-analysis.
Both values are believed to be lab error as the practical
quantitative limit of detection for cyanide is 0.04 ppm.
These locations will be re-checked during future bi-weekly
sampling events.
If you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely,
f-1Yc+na~' ~~
Alana L.
