acres ± south of the river where the conveyor terminal is in
use and will be the last area mined as we pull out of the pit
(both colored orange) . This staging area is used to store pit
run materials until they are loaded on the conveyor for
delivery to the plant. In Phase 1, 7. 97 acres ± is undis-
turbed area that will become parts of Lakes 4 and 5 (dark
green) , and 5.48 acres ± that is sod farm.
(2) No reclamation was required this year. Backfilling is
continuing in the WETLAND DEVELOPMENT AREA in the north lake
(aqua) . We have approximately 11 . 50 acres filled in this area
at this time. We have completed bank sloping into the
excavation on the south lake, along the river and west side. ,
4 . 65 acres ± (pink) . All of the north, west and south shores
in Phase 1 are complete and revegetated. In addition 6. 84
acres along the river and west side of the excavation area was
seeded with the approved mixture this year. The seeding north
of the river is successful, on the south the seed took in
placed and did not do well in other. We suspect this was due
to the lack of moisture after the site was seeded. We will
monitor it for another growing season and if needed reseed in
the spring of 1996.
The list below shows the total acres under various stages of
reclamation. We have approximately 52 , 100 YD3 Of soil
stockpiled on the site south of the river. We estimate that
if mining ceased today, 37, 800 YD3 would be needed for
recoiling purposes. Most of the reclamation in the mined
areas north of the river is complete. Only the east shore of
Lake 1 is left to complete at this time. This can not be done
until the plant site areas is mined because we are still
working in this aLea.

(3) Mining will continue in the Lake #2 area stripped this year.
We will mine along the west side of the entrance road and pull
back towards the conveyor terminal area. We expect to mine
12 . 50 acres ± this year in that area (yellow) , if additional
area is needed we will start mining the area stripped (cross
hatched) .
