P 6
Activity from August 1999 through July 2000
During late 1999 and early 2000, ITEC applied for Temporary Cessation for
permit M83-141. Essentially all of the mineral bearing material in the Cash Mine
Dump had been hauled away and the slopes re-graded where practicable and
possible. However, the land owner, Mark Steen, was interested in having other
adjacent material moved when the economic picture improved. Such an activity
would conflict with final reclamation plans. There was also an unsettled issue
with the land owner concerning the relocation or stabilization of a small building.
It is hoped that a decision can be made before July 1st, 2000 that will allow ITEC
to address the building stabilization and commence with final reclamation for this
permit. Please contact Christine Kamnikar at DMG for more information.
1 hope this completes your adequacy needs. Please call if you need any other
information.
~lncelQ~ ~
~~ utie_
