This report is in response to your
letter of inadequacy, January 11, 2000.
Please note that the ITEC office is now located in Grand Junction at:
ITEC Environmental Colorado Inc.
C/0 Creative Concepts
3182-A Mesa Ave.
Grand Junction, CO 81504
Phone 970-434-3004
Fax 970-434-0569
Actlvlty Through July 1999 (Permit Year)
Other than routine security, monitoring and maintenance of stormwater features,
the only activity that occurred during the permit year was the removal of material
from the waste rock dump. This material was hauled to the Gold Hill Mill and
stockpiled. Removal began in October of 1998 and was completed by mid
December of 1998. Approximately 35,000 tons of material was hauled to the
Gold Hill Mill.
Removal was accomplished using a large excavator and smell dozer. Material
was removed to expose the actual contour of the rock outcrop beneath the dump
rock pile. Where possible, re-contouring was done during removal, to leave the
area with good stormwater control and drainage.
