On July 8'h the pump in well BF-5 stopped. An effort was made to remove the pump and replace it but
with no success. We think that either the well casing has a "dog leg" at about 25 feet or the electrical
wiring has become entangled with the pump and is wedged in between the pump and the casing.
While this pump was down and maintain the required level in the back fill, a pump was installed in
well BF-6 on July 25'n
We are still in the process of trying to remove the pump from BF-5, when this is accomplished a new
pump will be installed.
The Performance Monitoring Program results, ground water well water quality time series plots,
previously reported on a monthly basis are now reported quarterly. The June monthly report was
sent but nothing will be received until the end of the third quarter.
Since . ,
David E.
