Water was seeping up through the ground above buried pipeline. The area is an area which <br />has been excavated for plant facilities. No vegetation grows in the area and no effects on vegetation is <br />expected. All of the discharge was contained in nearby erosion control basins. The process pond pump was <br />turned off and seepage stopped. A water truck was utilized to remove all standing water by 1800 on 1/25/99. <br />CAUSE AND EXTENT OF PERSONNEL INJURY: None <br />OTHER FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT AGENCIES NOTiFiED: Colorado DMG <br />ACTION TAKEN TO PREVENT RECURRENCE: The process pond return pipeline will not be utilized until <br />pipeline is repaired.
