MILLER <br />LEONARD LOUKONEN, et al., <br />Plaintiffs, <br />v. <br />COLORADO MINES LAND RECLAMATION BOARD, et al., <br />Defendants. <br />Affiant Janet L. Miller, being duly sworn, states as follows: <br />1. My present position is first assistant attorney general <br />in the Natural Resources section of the Office of the Attorney <br />General, state of Colorado. I have held this position since July <br />1982. <br />2. I received a B.S. degree with honors from Northern Arizona <br />University in 1967. <br />3. I received a J.D. degree in 1974 from the University of <br />Colorado, School of Law. <br />4. From August 1974 to January 1977, I was an assistant <br />attorney general in the appellate section of the Attorney General's <br />Office. I argued criminal and civil cases before the 10th Circuit <br />Court of Appeals, the Federal District Court for Colorado, the <br />Colorado Supreme Court, and the Colorado Court of Appeals. <br />5. From January 1977 to July 1980, I was an assistant attorney <br />general in the Natural Resources section of the Attorney General's <br />Office. I served as general counsel for the Air Pollution Control <br />Division, State Board of Land Commissioners, Division and Board of <br />Parks and Outdoor Recreation, State Historical Society, Geological <br />Survey, Division of Disaster Emergency Services, Division of Mines, <br />Natural Areas Counsel, and the Weather Modification Program which <br />involved litigation, administrative hearings and proceedings, con- <br />tract drafting and review and general legal advice. <br />EXHIBIT E <br />
