"Mike" Maxwell is a Colorado native, who now lives in Parker. He was appointed <br />County Commissioner in August 1997. <br />Before becoming Commissioner, Mr. Maxwell served the County as a member of a number of <br />citizen committees. He served on the Parks Advisory Board, which he chaired in 1997. Mr. <br />Maxwell was also a member of the Mineral Extraction Task Force and the Citizens Budget <br />Committee. His previous work experience includes 29 years with the Public Service Company of <br />Colorado. <br />• Mr. Maxwell is active in Colorado Counties, Inc. (CCI) and the National Association of Counties <br />(NACo). He serves on CCI's Tax and Finance and General Government committees and on <br />NACo's Justice and Public Safety Committee. Mr. Maxwell is on the Executive Committee of the <br />Arapahoe County Public Airport Authority and he serves on the Denver International Airport <br />Noise Task Force. Mr. Maxwell is also on the Board of Directors of the Southeast <br />Denver/Douglas County Economic Development Council (SEDC). <br />Mike has been married to Donna Roth Maxwell for 34 years. They have a daughter, Michelle <br />Maxwell Hill.
