July 8, 1992
Page 2
TCC Response
TCC was unable to obtain a sample in May 1990 due to the low water year
experienced, information which was relayed to Mr. Berry at the time. As such, only
a single set of field parameters could be obtained due to the nature of this well.
Concerning the lack of a level measurement, one could only be obtained for the fall
sample, and equated to a reading of less than 1 psi, with a steady drip at the spout
of the upright. As such, the program failed to register an elevation due to a null value
in the elevation field. Subsequent sampling has not experienced similar problems, and
this would appear to be an isolated incident. As previously discussed, TCC can not
obtain samples from this well when water levels/pressures are insufficient to create
flow at the spout.
MLRD Concern
2. There were no measurements done on well 008-75-EFC. Please explain this
omission.
TCC Response
The measurements for the referenced well were as follows:
May 17, 1990 = 40.3
Sept. 11, 1990 = 41.5
The values were inadvertently entered into the database under the wrong project
code, and have since been corrected.
MLRD Concern
3. The level reading for May is missing for well 001-83-107. Please explain.
TCC Response
The pressure reading for the refernced sample was 1 psi, and was not entered with the
other data during upload. This ommission was unintentional, and we hope to avoid
similar oversights in the future.
MLRD Concern
4. The 1990 level readings for well 001-83-106 are missing. Pleas explain.
