Unlike the previous years of drought conditions, the 2004 seasons supplied an abundance <br />of moisture via winter snow and gentle, soaker spring rain and vegetation thrived as a result. With <br />the establishment of vegetation, increased plant size, installation of the continuos contour ditches <br />and addition of rock dams, erosion control was effective with Tilling being held to a msnimum <br />throughout the reclamation site. <br />EFMC will continue to closely monitor the erosion and vegetation status on the reclaimed <br />areas. Overall, having received more moisture than during previous years at the site, vegetation <br />has shown good improvement during the report year. However, EFMC is concerned about <br />unwarranted pressure to the reclaimed azeas from grazing if the approved grazing <br />recommendations aze not followed. <br />4 <br />
