DMG Concern

3. Increase the frequency of stream gauging at key stations 1003,
301, and 69, as well as the new station developed in response
to No. 1 above.
CYCC Response
CYCC will continue to conduct stream gaging at a variable frequency
dependent upon the continuing internal evaluation of sites involved
and the stability of the rating curves developed. As discussed
previously, CYCC feels that stream gaging frequency for our surface
sites has been adequate to characterize the rating curve, and
addresses the period of greatest concern (low-flow). During the
period that the initial rating curve for the new Trout Creek Site
is being developed, it is likely that TCC will conduct additional
stream gaging at the listed sites to better characterize the
relationship of these sites to one another, but this may not be
needed for any extended period due to the current data available
for the existing sites.
Kent, I apologize for the delay in getting these responses out, but
some extra time was needed in order to address some of the concerns
and requirements put forth by the Division.
This, in conjunction with the holidays and some other permitting
activities, has resulted in the short delay for submitting this
response packet. Should you have any further questions or
comments, please contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Mari~~ Middleton
Environmental Specialist
