<br />Sanderson Pit M-78-069 <br />Annual Report and Fee - Enclosed with this letter. <br />Groundwater exposed to evaporation - Groundwater has <br />been exposed prior to 1980 so is exempt. <br />Water Impoundments - This pond will be addressed in <br />the ili permit application. <br />Mine ID Sign - Signs are on order and will be <br />installed as soon as delivered. <br />Performance Warranty - Rio Grande County will be <br />re-permitting all permits as 111 permits per <br />CRS 34-32-11(7). No Warranty is required. <br />Topsoil Stockpiles not Vegetated - These stockpiles are <br />protected by trees so wind erosion is not a <br />factor. Seeding will not produce any <br />more cover than is naturally occurring. <br />Small Pile of Asphalt Waste - Has been removed. <br />Harrison Pit M-78-067 <br />Annual Report and Fee - This pit has been closed for <br />over ten years and the County has repeatedly <br />submitted all reclamation reports. The Division <br />has failed to close the permit. No annual report <br />or fee will be forthcoming. <br />Maxeyville Pit M-78-068 <br />Annual Report and Fee - Enclosed with this letter. <br />Groundwater exposed to Evaporation - First, this pit has <br />been in operation prior to 1980 so is exempt from <br />this provision. Secondly, the Division of <br />Natural Resources has permitted a private individual <br />to use the water from this pit for agricultural <br />purposes, therefore, no augrmentation is necessary. <br />Water Impoundments - This pond will be duly noted on <br />the 111 permit application. <br />Mine ID Sign - The signs are on order and will be <br />installed as soon as delivered. <br />Permit Boundary - This will be corrected on the <br />111 permit application. <br />Performance Warranty - Rio Grande County will be <br />re-permitting all permits as 111 permits per <br />CRS 34-32-111(7). No Warranty is required. <br />Pond Shoreline - The 5:1 slope will be addressed when <br />the water is low enough to correct. <br />374 Pit M-87-020 <br />MIning 15.7 acres outside 9.92 acre permit - Rio Grande <br />County will be re-permitting as a 111 permit and <br />this difference will be corrected at that time, <br />
