• Water and Air Quality Control Techniques
Steps have been taken by TCC to comply with the Clean Water Act and
other applicable water quality laws and regulations and health and
safety standards including development of a drainage control plan.
With respect to compliance with the Clean Water Act, TCC has a
discharge permit from the Colorado State Department of Health,
Water Pollution Control Division, under the National Pollutant and
Discharge Elimination System (NPDES). Compliance with this permit
will serve to effect compliance with the Colorado Water Control
Act.
TCC has likewise submitted an application and received initial
approval for air quality emissions permit to the Colorado
Department of Health, Air Quality Division. To date no final
approval has been received from the CDOH. Fugitive dust control
measures are employed as an integral part of the activities at the
loadout facility. Compliance with this permit will serve to effect
compliance with the Clean Air Act and the Colorado Pollution Act.
Air pollution control measures are discussed in detail in the Air
Pollution Control Plan.
Sealing or Managin4 Mine Openings, Exploration Holes or other Bore
Holes or Wells
• Since no mining will be conducted by TCC, no openings or bore holes
will be present for managing.
. 2.05-15Ra
Rev. 06-22-93
