• Water and Air Quality Control Techniques <br />Steps have been taken by TCC to comply with the Clean Water Act and <br />other applicable water quality laws and regulations and health and <br />safety standards including development of a drainage control plan. <br />With respect to compliance with the Clean Water Act, TCC has a <br />discharge permit from the Colorado State Department of Health, <br />Water Pollution Control Division, under the National Pollutant and <br />Discharge Elimination System (NPDES). Compliance with this permit <br />will serve to effect compliance with the Colorado Water Control <br />Act. <br />TCC has likewise submitted an application and received initial <br />approval for air quality emissions permit to the Colorado <br />Department of Health, Air Quality Division. To date no final <br />approval has been received from the CDOH. Fugitive dust control <br />measures are employed as an integral part of the activities at the <br />loadout facility. Compliance with this permit will serve to effect <br />compliance with the Clean Air Act and the Colorado Pollution Act. <br />Air pollution control measures are discussed in detail in the Air <br />Pollution Control Plan. <br />Sealing or Managin4 Mine Openings, Exploration Holes or other Bore <br />Holes or Wells <br />• Since no mining will be conducted by TCC, no openings or bore holes <br />will be present for managing. <br />. 2.05-15Ra <br />Rev. 06-22-93 <br />
