F.XHTRYT D
Reclamation Plan

Existing depth of topsoil is approximately eight inches. This material
was and will be stripped and stockpiled around the perimeter of the excavation.
Final slopes will be build in accordance with recommendations of the
SCS and will be no steeper than 5:1. Topsoil will be placed over the
area at an approximate depth of 6-7 inches. Any compacted areas will be
ripped with a ripper prior to placement of topsoil.
The disturbed area will be fertilized, disked, drill seeded, mulched
and crimped. Fertilizer and seed mixture will be as recommended by the SCS.
As a minimum, we agree to the following:
1) Fertilizer - 20 units of nitrogen per acre
2) Seeding
Seed
Blue grama
Western 4Vheatgrass
Indian Riceqrass
Sand dropseed
Fourwing saltbush
4Jinterfat
Variety
Hac hita
Arriba or Barton
Ne zpar
Rincon
Indian ricegrass to be seeded first at a depth of
Other seed to be drilled in a separate operation
1/4 to 1/2 inches deep.
PLS/acre
1.2
3.2
2.5
0.1
0.5
0.5
12 to 2 inches.
to a depth of
3) Mulch - 2000 pounds straw mulch per acre. Mulch to be blown
and then crimped with a crimper.
No water impoundment will occur except in a heavy flood situation.
Any water caught will percolate into the soils rapidly.
Seeding will be done in the early Spring or late Fall. No roads
or other structures will remain other than the excavation.
Estimated costs of reclamation are:
Soil Preparation - 10 acres @ $50 = $500
Seeding - 10 acres @ $BO = B00
Fertilizer - 10 acres @ $20 = 200
Mulching - 10 acres @ $200= 2000
TOTAL RECLAMATION COST = $3,500
