•
co improve species diversity at the mine site. A plan for evaluating species diversity waz submitted
March 25, 1982. A woody plant density of 1000 stems/acre waz established June 28, 1983. A plan
for monitoring revegetation success was proposed during the mid-term review in March 1985. On
January 6, 1986, a minor revision was submitted to change the reclamation seed tnixcure to
improve species diversity.
Since the January 1987 permit renewal, two minor revisions (MR-02 and MR-06), three technical
revisions ('I'R-53, TR-62, and TR-67), and one renewal stipulation (RN-02) concerning revegetation
issues have been approved or satisfied. Table 13 summarizes relevant information concerning these
revisions.
TABLE 4.15-1
POST RECLAMATION PERMIT REVISIONS REGARDING REVEGETATION
Revision or Approval Subject Matter/Effect
Stipulation Number Date
MR-02 6/8187 Approved use of Tordan 22K for thistle control in reclaimed areas.
TR-53 10126/87 Modified (reduced) woody plant density standard.
MR-O6 11/2/87 Eliminated requirement for mulching reseeded areas.
Stip.
