This source is subject to the process weight rate of Regulation Number 6, Part e., III., C. as <br />fellows: <br />For those pieces of equipment with process weight rate of 3D tons per hour or less, pounds per <br />hour emissions of total particulates shat not exceed 3.58 P°'°Z, where P =process weight rate <br />(tons per hour). <br />For arose pieces of equipment with process weight rate of more than 30 tons per hour, pounds <br />per hour emissions of total particulates shall not exceed 17.3t'P°''°, where P =process weight <br />rate (tons per hour). <br />9. This source i5 subject to the New Source Performance Standards requirements of Regulation No. <br />6, Part A, Subpart Y, Standards of PerfortmanCe for Coal Preparation Plants including, but not <br />limited to, the following: <br />a. Emissions shall be less than 20°~6 opacity. <br />In additbn, the following requirements of Regulation No. 6, Part A, Subpart A, General Provisions, <br />aPPy~ <br />a. At a0 times, induding periods of starl~rp, shutdown, and malfunction, the facility <br />and control equipment shall, W the eMent practicable, be maintained and <br />Operated in a manner consistent with good air pollution control practices for <br />minimizing emissons. Determination of whether or not acceptable operating and <br />maintenance procedures are being used will be based on information avalable to <br />the Division, which may include, but is not limited to, nronitoring results, opaaty <br />observatbns, review d operating and maintenance procedures, and inspection of <br />the source. (Reference: ReguWtion 6, Part A General Provisions from <br />4OCFR6O.11 <br />b. No amide, machine, equipment or process shat be used to conceal an emission <br />which would otherwise constitute a violation of an applicable standard. Such <br />concealment includes, but is rrot limited to, the use of gaseous d9uents to achieve <br />compliance with an opacity standard or with a standard which is based on the <br />concentration of a pollutant in the gases discharged to the atmosphere. Within one hundred and eighty days (180) after commencement of operation under the original . <br />Issuance of the Initial Approval of this permit. compliance with the conditions contained on this <br />pemtit shall be demonstrated to the Division. It is the permittee's responsibility to self certify <br />compliance with the condtions.
