EXHIBIT K -CLIMATE <br />' Although there is no climatological data available specifically for the <br />' subject site, information recorded by the weather station at Stapleton <br />' International Airport, Located approximately 9 miles northwest of the <br />affected Land, is considered representative of the Denver area. In general <br />' the climate is one of Low relative humidity, low average precipitation, and <br />' considerable sunshine. <br />Precipitation <br />t Spring is the wettest, cloudiest, and windiest season with about 37 <br />' percent of the annual total precipitation occurring then, much of it as <br />snow during the colder, earlier period of the season. Summer precipi- <br />tation is about 32 percent of the annual total and occurs from scattered <br />Local thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening, particularly in <br />July and August.
