No public access will be allowed into the Project permit
area. The project entrance will contain a gate locked in non operational hours. The
permit area's southern perimeter is fenced with the railroad right of way and Arkansas
River paralleling the fence along the entire perimeter. This fence will be maintained to
restrict public access into the project and if any ranch stock access out of the project area.
Signs will be posted identifying the azea as restricted until the area is reclaimed. If the
future tourist railroad area is developed, it will be fenced to prevent the public from
entering the permit area. It is not anticipated that the future tourist railroad will need
County Road l57 to accommodate their business. (Personal Communication,
Georgetown Loop Railroad Owner 12/97)
There are no other bridges or roads across the Arkansas River on either the east or west
end of the project. The 2 neighbors to the east have a private road which is gated and
locked with a security lock. It is kept locked at all times and great care is taken by the
Clarks to allow no one unauthorized access into their or their neighbor's property. Access
from the Clarks to the project would also have to trespass onto the railroad right of way
which prohibits any access.
2.14 Weed Control
A project specific Noxious Weed Management Plan has be developed with the Fremont
County Weed Control Board, University of Colorado Fort Collins Office and the Fremont
County Planning and Zoning Department..
Page 29
