<br /> <br />2.0.8 Permit term <br />Revised <br />July 28, 1982 <br />Aug. 17. 1983 <br />Permit C-031-81, Pryor Mine, is for the term of five (5) years, November <br />1982 to November 1987. The permit area represented in this application <br />represents about 140 acres. It is the intent of American Fuels, Inc, to <br />eventually permit an additional 320 acres adjacent to this permit area. <br />Thus' this application is considered a Partial permit application. <br />Mining actlvities are expected to start in September, 1983• The first area <br />to be mined is designated "1982(2)" on Map 6. Approximately 18 acres of <br />land x111 be disturbed the first year. Mining activities in this area will <br />terminate in the early spring of 1984. The second and final area to be <br />• mined under this Partial Permit is designated "1982(38)" on Map 6. <br />Approximately 8 acres of land x111 be disturbed. Mining activities in this <br /> <br />area will terminate in the Fall of 1984. In addition to the areas actually <br />mined, surface facilities will be established beginning in September, 1982. <br />These facilities include office space, a maintainance shed, and a portable <br />crusher. This area rill affect approximately 4 acres. Sediment ponds and <br />diversion ditches rill occupy about 2 acres. Details of the proposed operation <br />of the mine can be found within other sections of this application. Total <br />disturbed area is estimated at 26 acres. <br />40 ~ <br />
