In addi*.ion to MSHA <br /> regulations and inspections, BMR will have a Safety and Training <br />' Officer or a person of similar capacity that will provide safety and <br /> training courses to employees. This position wile also have <br />' responsibility for the day to day inspection and correction of worker <br /> performance. Prior to an employee performing his duties he will be <br /> trained to understand safety measures. With adequate training and <br />t knowledge of safety measures, most accidents can be avoided. <br />`~ The Safety and Training Officer at the mine will conduct <br /> training for appropriate individuals concerning safe handling, and <br />' clean-up of and emergency medical treatment for the various materials <br /> used at the project. New employees will be instructed upon hiring. <br />' Periodic refresher courses will be given.
