SEEDING RECOMt+CENDATIONS
For best results seed should be drilled 4" into a prepared seedbed then
apply mulch. If slope ie to steep or drill is not available broadcast
seed over a prepared seedbed. Seed should then be covered with about
9" of soil. This can best be done with a hsrrow or if area is small a
hand rake.
The best time to seed is late fall, just prior to the ground freezing.
In this area it would be best in the months of October or November.
This allows the seed to stay in the ground until spring when it can
germinate and make the best use of spring moisture. Next best would be
an early spring seeding. It's best to get in as soon as the ground has
thawed and dry enough to work. This can vary greatly from year to year
and area to area but by the end of March you should be able to plant.
SEEDING RATES
S ep ties C-W-N Variety ~ of Mix Lbs.
