Flow
As in the original permit, a flow limit is included for discharge paint
004 due to the presence of domestic wastewater in the discharge. However,
the flow limit will apply to the discharge from the WWTF only, before it
is combined with the other sources. This is to ensure that the plant
capacity is not ezceeded. The previous permit included a flow limit at
004; this limit will be deleted, and the only flow limit will be 0.06 MGD
for the WWTF effluent. (The previous flow limit was also intended to be
0.06 MGD, but was wrongly listed as 0.036 MGD. This has been corrected.)
None of the other permit limits are flow-based, therefore no other flow
limits are needed in the permit at this time.
B. pH, Oil and Grease, BOD
• The WQS for pH are stricter than the SES, and are therefore used. The oil
~ and grease and BOD limits are based on the SES.
