• 8. Access Route Rehabilitation
Those areas where roadwork is necessary for access will, upon
cessation of use, be regraded to theft approximate original
shape. Topsoil will then be redistributed over the disturbed
area and the surface prepared for seeding. Any existing
access roads and trails, and areas requiring grubbing work
for access, should not require rehabilitation or reclamation
work. No roadwork disturbance is anticipated for the drill-
ing project. Note that for bonding calculations the total
length of all drill trails is considered for reclamation.
9. Revegetation
Each area will be broadcast seeded, following seedbed prepa-
ration, utilizing the following seed mix:
Species
Intermediate Wheatgrass
Western Wheatgrass
Side Oats Gama
Sand Dropseed
Cider Milkvetch
Bulk lbs/acres
14 .0
8.0
6.0
0.4
2.0
• Total 30.4 lbs/acre
*This rate is for broadcast seeding, only. Drill seeding
should be done at half the rate shown.-
Broadcast seed will be raked or otherwise mixed with the
topsoil. In areas where high potential for erosion exists,
or where reclaimed slopes exceed 3 horizontal to 1 vertical
(3:1), straw mulch will be applied at the Cate of 2,000 lbs.
per acre as the final step.
Bonding Calculations
Energy Fuels Coal, Inc. has utilized the Colorado Mined Land
Reclamation Division Exploration Bonding Calculations to determine
the amount of reclamation bond, attached as Exhibit 2, Bonding
Calculations. Following is a summary .of reclamation costs for the
proposed drilling project:
Operation
Sealing drill holes
Plugging drill holes
Backfill mud pits
Regrade drill sites
Regrade drill trails
• Reseed drill sites and trails
Mobilization
Reclamation Cost
$1,134.00
132.00
720.00
360.00
624 .00
667.00
330.00
Total reclamation cost: $3,967.00
Round to :. $4,000.00
