-4- <br />320 kips, aryl the columm loads in the preparation plant will vary <br />between 45 and 260 kips. The maximum column loads for the sampling ' <br />tower will be 45 kips. The rotary breaker column loads will vary from <br />60 to 150 kips. <br />An electrical substation will be located in the vicinity of Test <br />Hole 5-14, No information was available at the time of report <br />preparation on the building loads for the structure; however, <br />relatively light Ioads are antiā¢;ipated. A process pond will be <br />located in the vicinity of pest Fi;,le 5-15. This process pond will be <br />capable of holding approximately SO acre-feet of pollutant. The <br />interior of the process pond will be covered with an artificial <br />lining. <br />Two raw coal silos will be located in the vicinity of Test <br />Holes S-16 through 5-18. lriese silos are approximately 70 feet in <br />diameter and 150 feet high. Each silo has a capacity to store ' <br />10,000 tons of coal. The contact pressure beneath the silo <br />foundations, whidi are 8~ feet wide; is estimated to be between <br />8,000 and 10,000 psf. Clean coal silos originally planned for the <br />area near Test Holes S-19 through 5-20 were deleted from the project <br />during the time of report preparation. <br />Water tanks will be placed on the hilltop north of the portal <br />area. The 1.6 million gallon water tank is approximately 40 feet high <br />and 85 feet in diameter. An additional 50,000-gallon water tank is <br />apaproximately 32 feet high and 25 feet in diameter. 'It~e water tanks <br />will be supported on ring wall foundations. <br />
