This total includes 81 passerine species. The most common
species are green-tailed towhee (Pipilo chlorura), common crow, American robin Turdus
mi atorius), and brown-headed cowbird (Molothrus ater), which average 2.5, 2.0, 1.6 and 1.6
birds per km, respectively, over six habitat types. The riparian supports the highest number (59)
of these species, followed by aspen (49) and mountain shrub (47).
2.7-20d Revised 11/06
