• <br />Safety <br />51. Western will fence the urea covered by the reclamation permit, <br />consisting of a six (6) foot high chain link fence topped witFi <br />three (3) strands of barbed wire canted outward. <br />Stabilization <br />$Tl. Western will maintain and stabilize finished slopes to a ratio <br />no steeper than two (2} horizontal to one (1} vertical. (The <br />above can revert to a less steeper slope to co:.fonn to local <br />zoning regulations). <br />ST2. Land stabilization and reclamation will be maintained for a period <br />of three (3) years after all mining activities cease, and if the <br />property is sold, leased, or transferred in any manner, the new <br />owner, lessee, or person having control, must file a request to <br />succeed Western (LRB Fonn 7) with the Colorado Lond Reclanation <br />Board, and shall agree to be bound to the unexpired period ~~f the <br />three year term. <br />Water Control, Erosion 8 Drainage <br />W1. If Western plans to discharge into a waterway, then a permit <br />to dischorge into same wil I be obtained from the Colorado ~/ater <br />Quality Control Commission. <br />W2. Western will monitor wafer wells in the vicinity of said operation <br />to observe levels of said wells and will arrange for a pure water <br />supply for the users or owners of wells affected by any draw~~own <br />of the water fable as a result of this operation. <br />W3. Westem will control erosion on or along haul roads by the use <br />of drainage ditches, culverts, or check dome. <br />W4. Western will take any necessary measures to prevent undesirable <br />seepage from water impoundment sites and will provide ode<luate <br />spillways or other measures necessary to control overflow, <br />-3- <br />
