0 0
Y
TUTTLE APPLEGATE RINDAHL, INC.
Consultants for Land and Resource Development
Mr. Mike Boyd
Reclamation Specialist
Mined Land Reclamation Division
August 23, 1989
Page 6
Deborah C. Gamec
The environmental concerns of the area were noted in designing
the mining plan. The reclamation plan meets Colorado standards
and an adequate bond is proposed to insure reclamation occurs.
The local land use issues stated in Ms. Gamec's letter will be
addressed at the local level with Douglas County.
Mr. Henry A. Into
Mr. Into's letter contains many inaccuracies and misstatements
unworthy of comment. The statement about the violations of
current permits ignores the facts. Please refer to the Founders
Village Homeowners Association for more information regarding
those violations.
In summary, we believe the issues regarding mining and
reclamation have adequately been addressed. The proposed
reclamation plan will return the land to a beneficial use. The
concerns stated in most of the letters are based on local land
use issues that will be addressed with Douglas County. Hallett
Materials has shown good faith in working with all of the review
agencies in the preparation of this mining and reclamation plan.
They plan to continue doing so.
Thank you for input and review of this
forward to working with you.
Cordially,
TUTTLEAPPLEGATE, INC.
giff az
application.
