•
69~Woodside Road
Ha ard, MA O1Q51
~ January 22, 1998
Mr. Tony Waldron
Division of Minerals and Geology
1313 Sherman Street
Denver, CO 80203
FAX# 303-832-8106
Re; Sand and Gravel Pit
Bedrock Mine #1, M-97-086
Dear Mr. Waldron:

On or about November 2, 1997, I received a Certified,
Return Receipt Requested, letter from Ferd A. Mueller of
iSiloam Stone regarding the application for the "Extraction
of Construction Materials" at or near Section 36, Township
21 South, Range 68 West, 6`h P.M., Pueblo County, Colorado.
The letter also stated that the mining would start in 1997
and be completed in the year 2100.
I called Mr. Mueller and he returned my call two days after
my receipt of the letter. I asked Mr. Mueller if the
letter should have read 2001, instead of 2100. He said he
hadn't seen the letter that went out (although his
signature was on it), but it should have read 2001, not
2100. He also said that the mining was just about done
where it was being carried out presently, and that his
company would soon be turning that area back to grazing
land. The company would then be breaking new ground north
of the present location. At no time did he plan for his
'company to do any mining north of Red Creek Springs Road.
I am enclosing a copy of his letter to me dated October 13,
1997. My lot is iF61, on Red Creek Springs Road, Section
36. Sf you need any further information, please do not
hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely yours,
~ ~,~
Kat~leen J.
