WAGNER RENTS ~ PAGE 02
01/22!1998 12;56 71954407
i
concerns about the possibility of lack of proper notification for that meeting
as well as others. If these was a lack of notification, can there be a final
decisitnt trade without the other landowners involved being given an
opportunity to voice their concerns?
the Newton and Roper Homeowners Association Board Members
understand that legally the State of Colorado, owning the mineral r'ghtr, and
Siloam Stone having a grandfathered lease to mine landscape rock, have the
i right to mine undeveloped land. Our concerns are that there are many people
living ir. the area 1noa~~. We feel there are safety issues that will need to be
addressed.
One of those issues is the blasting efforts that will be made to remove the
"minerals". If a reclamation permit is issued we would r°..quest that blasting
efforts permiteed be regulated and monitored. VVe would suggest that
blasting take place only during the hours of l Oam - 2pm, Monday -Friday,
when most of the residents are at vvvrlc or school. We would ask that no
biasiiug or extraction be done on die weekenus. We suggest that the site of
the blasting be minimized and be done with the smallest of charges. There
are concerns about the impact of blast~g to the surrounding homes, and j
wells, that have been built and installed on the Newtoo and Roper,(as well as
the Vaughn and Savage) phases of Red
i
