We feel that Siloam
Stone has gone beyond the boundries of it's current mining agreements, end
should be closed vs. issued a further permit to bring Sdoetn State ittto
compliance. We have issues with the fact that Siloam Stone can not keep it's
current agreements, and that given this permit, will be uncontrollable in it's
tniniDg actibns.
I am ar- elected board member of the Newton and Roper Homeowners
Association, representing over 140 landowners. Six of the land owners are
directly involved in this issue as they own the surface rights to some of the
acreage that the Stare of Colorado owns mineral rights ta.
I understand that landowners involved, or within 300', of the proposed
project, bylaw, are to be noted of hearings, eta It is my understanding that
only one landowner, the Parks, and the developer, Red Creek Ranch,
received notification rrf your initial meeting, and that Kelly Parks, (her
daughter), as well a; Jce O'Brien of Red Creek Ranch -the developer, were
the only two individuals that attended.
12:56 7195447
PAGE 01
i
