Table 1 below shows a comparison of federal technology based limitations (BAT), state
effluent standards (S&i), water quality standards (WQS) and a one time analysis of
the ground water in the aquifer. These values are applicable to discharge point OCS.

It should be pointed out that the one time analysis is [he maximum reported value o:
ground water samples from a disturbed section of the aquifer and represent, the
"worst case" ware= quality of the aquifer. All of the data reported for this aquifer
are shown in Appendix A.
Total chromium was reported for the one time analysis. The maximum total chromium
value was less thar. the trivalent chromium standard but greater than the heravalent
chromium standard. Thus, there is uncertainty about meeting limitations for
he ::avalent chromium.
