.. ~ - • <br />EXH181T D <br />The totes pit eree is divided into two specific removal areas es shown on <br />Exhibit C. Using scrapers, the topsoil will be removed from Aree 1 end <br />stockpiled in the area indicated on Exhibit 'C'. Utilizing scrapers and iront- <br />end loaders es necessary, the overburden soils will be removed sequsntlelly <br />and spread along the west line of the owners property, (see Exhibit 'F'). <br />Approximately 6' to 12' of topsoil will be removed. Overburden depths <br />range from 4.5' to 11.5', please refer to Exhibit 'I', Soils Information for <br />boring logs. Sand end grovel removed from Aroa 1 will be taken to the <br />crusher end processing eree to be set up just north of Aree 1. Processed <br />meieriels will be stockpiled in this same eree. Movement of materials on <br />the site will be accomplished by using tandem exte dump trucks. <br />Operations in Aree 2 will be conducted in a similar fashion. After grovel <br />extraction is completed in Areo 1, topsoil Area 2 will be utilized for <br />roclememtion of Aree 1 end in the fill operation along the west property <br />line. Overburden form Aree 2 will be utilized in the some fail. <br />The existing gravel road will be used for transportation of the materiels off <br />the site. Besad on experience gained during the operation of the present <br />Brownwood Pit, materials removed from this site wilt be used in <br />construction projects in the vicinities of Loveland, Ft. Collins, Greeley, <br />Windsor, Berthoud, Longmont and Estes Park. Hauling operations will <br />utilize the major routes serving these areas. These routes include, but ere <br />not limited to, State Highway 402, I-25, U.S. 287, and U.S. 34. <br />As the prevailing uses in the eree are agricultural end because currently <br />used dust, noise and pollullon abatement procedures used by Coulson <br />Excxeveting Company, Inc. will be continued during the mining of Klrtrtght <br />Ptt, it is felt that dust and noise will not be problem. The currently used <br />procedures include, but ore not limited to, use of a paved haul rood, <br />watering of unpaved haul routes on-site, end positioning of equipment as ter <br />from the property boundaries as possible. <br />
