Areas above the waterline wilt be covered with a
minimum of 6' of topsoil. The banks of the ponds wilt be reseeded down to
the waterline. The following seed mixture, which was recommended by the
local Soil Conservation Service office will be used:
Thickspike wheetgross {Critana) 5.5• PLS/Ac.
Side-oats groma (Vaughn) 2.25• PLS/Ac.
Switchgross (Nebr. 28) 1.125• PLS/Ac.
8.875• PLS/Ac.
At the request of the property owner, overburden and topsoil will be spread
along the western perimeter of the owner's property in the area indicated on
Exhibit'F'. This area will be reseeded with the
above seed mixture, unless the owner decides to plant a crop.
Approximately i2.7 acres will be reclaimed. Approximately 10.1 acres of
this total may be planted as a crop by the owner, in which case only 2.6
acres will need to be reseeded. The rest of the oroe will be in either ponds
or will not have been disturbed by the mining operations.
