The following items will need to be included in the permit <br />application; <br />Revise the affected area to include the disturbance associated with the temporary road, if <br />the temporary road will be located outside the proposed permit area. Please be aware that <br />any additional acreage beyond the 35.29 acres described in the application will need [o be <br />filed as an amendment to the application. Rule 1.6.6 requires that amendments to <br />applications be republished and a new notice of the application be mailed. If the <br />temporary road falls within the permit area, then the road will need to be located on the <br />mine plan map and discussed in the permit text. <br />• Provide the Division a description of the "current development standards" used by Moffat <br />County for both the temporary and replaced portion of County Road #26. <br />Provide a reclamation plan for the temporary and replaced roads [o achieve the <br />reclamation standards of Rule 6.4.5. <br />The applicant states, "...if ground water is intercepted, the operator will consult with the <br />BLM for guidance." Please be aware, that the operator may not intercept groundwater <br />without first obtaining approval from the Division. The operator will need to meet the <br />requirements of Rule 6.4.7 (Water Information) and obtain a well permit from the Office of <br />the State Engineer. <br />Please be advised that the Moffat County Little Snake Pit #26 application may be deemed <br />inadequate, acid the application may be denied on July 20, 1999 unless the above mentioned <br />adequacy review items are addressed to the satisfaction of the Division. If you feel more time is <br />needed to complete your reply, [he Division can grant an extension to the decision date. This <br />will be done upon receipt of a written waiver of your right to a decision by July 20, 1999 and <br />request for additional time. This must be received no later than the deadline date.
