<br />(6) The operator feels that the topsoil or growth media on site is of sufficient quality for revegetation. <br />There is no more suitable materials for revegetation on site. <br />(7) The topsoil or growth media will be replaced evenly over the site at an average depth of 4" - 8" <br />acid will probably average 6". 40# available Nd.P will be applied per acre, as recommended by the <br />SCS. <br />(8) There are no vegetative piles to be dealt with in reclamation of this site. <br />3.1.10 Revegetation <br />The revegetation_ plan recommended by the SCS appears to meet the criteria of a diverse, effective <br />and long-lasting vegetative cover that is capable ofself-regeneration, without continued dependence <br />on trrigation, soil amendments of fertilizer. It is expected to be at lease equal in extent of cover to <br />the natural vegetation of the surrounding area. <br />(2) If the operator's choice of reclamation is forest planting... <br />The operator has not selected forest planting, so this section is not applicable. <br />(3) The operator's choice of reclamation is for rangeland, and as stated earlier, the land shall be <br />restored to slopes commenst ~ •d land-use and will not be too steep to be traversed <br />by livestock or equipment. edin will robably be done wtt a ril but if the broadcast method <br />is chosen, the rate of seeding will be doubled. <br />(4) Revegetation has been designed azound the SCS reconunendation since they appear to be the most <br />experienced with vegetation in this area. Grazing will be delayed until revegetation is complete. <br />3.1.11 Buildings and Structures <br />There are no buildings or structures on site that will require any special treatment or protection from <br />the operator, local government or the Board except for the CIG gas line crossing the property. The <br />same agreement for protection of this structure will be agreed to by the operator as in other of [heir <br />operations in this area. See "Exhibit S" -Permanent Man-Made Structures in this application. <br />
