3.1.6 General Requirements
None of the items mentioned apply to this project.
3.1.7 Groundwater -Specific Requirements
This operation will have no affect on groundwater or bring any other water permit requirements into
play.
3.1.8 Wildlife
(1) The operator will consider the safety and protection of wildlife on site - if any.
No described critical periods or species are know for this site.
(2) Habitat management is not part of the reclamation plan for this project. It does not appear that
there are any unique opportunities to enhance habitat.
3.1.9 Topsoiling.
(1) The topsoil or growth media will be segregated to help prevent deterioration and erosion. If
topsoil or growth media is to remain in stockpile for more than 1 growing season, an SCS(te(~C
recommended vegetative cover hall be employed so that [he topsoil or growth media is protected
from erosion, remains free of a y cartamination by toxic or acid-forming material, and is in a u able
condition for reclamation. ~( ' p .~ ~ / ~ J
r' A.ttX`'` r w ~(nl J /. ~.,. The stockpiles will be kept low to help avoid
erosion. They have been included in the affected area and will be reclaimed as per t}ie plan.
(4) This operator finds that it is better operationally to move topsoil onl nce. There is less
degeneration of the material as well as being more econon)ical. o~ or, gr with media of this
operation will only be handled once. /l~'v •rU.i~ '1 ~ °' ` ~ -- ~ "~ " - ~ ~ ~ °'' -c ' v ~
f~, • ..,'
(5) This plan is designed to have a level pit floor when reclaimed, which precludes any slippage.
There will be no backfilled surfaces to be scarified.
