Greeley, Colorado Siebring Reservoir <br />SLURRY WALL LINED GRAVEL PIT RESERVOIR <br />The Siebring Reservoir was the first gravel pit <br />reservoir in the State of Colorado to be lined <br />with a slurry wall. The project was designed by <br />RMC in 1990 and constructed by Hall-Irvin <br />Construction in 1991. <br />When mining is completed in approximately <br />1988, the total storage will be 1,100 acre-feet. <br />The storage rights were purchased by Central <br />Colorado Water Conservancy District (Contact: <br />Tom Cech at 303-825-0474). <br />The site is located along the Cache la Poudre <br />River just west of Greeley, Colorado. The slurry <br />wall has a total length of 10,000 feet. The slurry <br />wall was constructed while mining of gravel was <br />on~oring.
