Cost Documentation. The method of calculating costs is illustrated by the cost calculation
worksheets presented in Appendix D, Cost Tables.
15.0 CALCULATION OF TOTAL COSTS FOR EACH RECLAMATION ACTIVITY
Total costs for each reclamation activity and disturbance area were calculated by
multiplying required equipment hours by the corresponding costs. A description of
how the percentages are applied to subtotals of direct and indirect costs is also included in
Appendix C.
Supervision, Support Equipment, Mobilization and Demobilization costs were calculated
using the equipment fleet requirements, equipment ownership costs, and labor rates previously
determined as a basis.
