Baldrige, Reclamation Specialist <br />RE: File No. M-86-079 <br />Adequacy Items <br />The following items must be addressed by the applicant in order to satisfy the <br />appiicabel requirements of C.R.S. 34-32-101 et seq. and the Mineral Rules and <br />Regulations of the Mined Land Reclamation Board: <br />1. What is meant on the Pre-Mining Plan Map by "ranch disposal area"? What <br />has been disposed in this area? How will this area be cleaned up prior <br />t0 mining? b ais~ur~o anima. Iv, that. o-re0. <br />2. What conditions will cause discharge from the site? Will the same <br />conditions occur in Phase 3 of mining and, if so, how will this area <br />discharge? Will discharges occur into existing ditch and then under the <br />road thru the existing culvert or will a new culvert be placed? It <br />might be helpful to delineate exactly where flows will discharge. <br />3. The agreement with the gravel pit operator whose pond will be <br />acceptingflows from the M & G Pit must be presented. ~ -a'' v„~ha <br />4, A culvert under the access road to Phase I appears necessary. Please <br />include sizing of this culvert. z v'~ <br />5. What measures will be taken to ensure the stability of the access road <br />located between Phase 3 and Phase 4? The Birghton Road and Ditch are also within 200 feet of <br />pit. How much topsoil and overburden is expected to be salvaged? If a <br />minimum of 6 inches of topsoil is salvaged throughout the site there <br />would be enough topsoil to replaced approximately 16 inches over the <br />land areas of the site.
