Powedines. Powerline demolition was based on the appropriate crew as published in Means. Powedine
lengths were taken from Exhibit 12-1 (Operations Plan). An estimate of daily production was made to arrive •
at the total cost for removal. Total length of line that traverses the permit area is five miles. Please see
Worksheet DEMO-1 in Attachment 13-4 for removal costs.
Facility Areas. After the buildings are demolished and disposed, [he site is recaimed. The top one foot of
gravel/scoria surfacing on the parking/storage areas will be ripped with a dozer and then picked up and
hauled to the diesel fuel tank area where it will be topsoiled and seeded (see RIPFAC-1 and HAULFAC-1).
Concrete foundation areas will be hauled to the solid waste disposal area for disposal. The entire parking
area will be ripped to a depth of three feet. Approximately one foot of topsoil from the topsoil stockpiles will
then be placed by scraper over the ripped parking area.
Miscellaneous Utilities. Appendix 7-6g presents the permanent pond demonstrations for PECOCO; the as-built is
shown on Exhibit 7-18.
SCC is working with the postmine landowners to also keep sediment Ponds 004 and 008 as permanent
impoundments. Consequently, none of the sediment ponds will be reclaimed.
Permanent Roads.
