• 1. All personnel will be trained in the use of the herbicides utilized and the safe operation of <br />equipment All personnel will be trained in the identification of target species and non-target <br />species. <br />2. Where chemical control is used, the pesticide label will determine the timing and rate of <br />herbicide application. <br />3. All precautions and label instructions will be followed during the application of the herbicide. <br />4. After chemical application and before moving to a new location the equipment used in the <br />process will be cleaned to prevent accidental transport of weed seeds. <br />5. No application of chemical control will be conducted when wind drift could potentially happen. <br />6. Herbicides will be applied during the time of day when the plants are most susceptible to <br />herbicide intake. <br />7. Herbicides will be applied when the tempersWre and humidity are optimum for plant intake. <br />8. Chemical control will be sequenced during the appropriate time in the life cycle of the plant for <br />• optimum control. <br />9.
