The strength properties would be
utilized to assist in design of the proposed facilities for the Redcliff Mine. Existing roads, an
upgraded portion of an existing road, and overland travel would be used to access the drill sites
on BLM managed lands. The proposed access and drill site locations are shown in Figure 1.
Drilling sites are located immediately adjacent to existing access road rights-of--way or at the
terminus of overland travel. There aze no related structures or facilities. Drilling would be with
a rubber track mounted drill rig. The track carrier is regulated to 3 mph. Tracks aze 13" wide
heavily reinforced rubber tracks. The outside width of the tracks is 6'-8". Steering is hydrostatic
skid steer with zero fuming radius and ground cleazance of 16 inches throughout the carrier.
Ground contact pressure (less tools) is 2.3 to 3.5 psi. The carrier can negotiate a 60% grade.
