7
ENVIRONMENT, INC. • PAGE 2
SEPTEMBER 1 5. 1999
east of our proposed mine. They are on the Moser land in the
NW~SE~ of Section 9, T15, R48W, 6th P.M.. I have asked Mr.
Weathers to Photograph his site and their site to show you that
we have not disturbed the site at this time.
HARRY P. GREEN - CONMSNT LSTTSR
I talked to Mr. Green today and he was confused also. I
explained our plans and the pit location in relation to his
property. We agreed to keep the fence along the south side in
good shape to protect his horses. Mr Green is concerned about
the highwall Western Pork has left on their site. He feels that
if one of his horses were to get out and fall off the embankment
they could be hurt. I explained that we had no control over
their operation, but that Mr. Weathers operation would not
present the same perils. Mr. Weathers will stay in touch with
him as mining progresses to address any concerns he has. Since
we will mine the exterior slopes 3:1, we will not have the same
condition on the site that Western Pork has.
With two separate commentors confusing our location with the
Western Pork site I was concerned that the legal I gave was
wrong. I checked the Vicinity Map and found that I was correct
in the notices, the mine IS located in the SE~NW~ and the SW~[NE~.
of Section 9. I will place a copy of this reply, and your
adequacy letter with the Yuma County Clerk and send you a copy of
the receipt, I hope this is adequate to addresses your ques-
tions so we can complete this permit without an extension.
Please call me if you have any more questions or need more
information.
Sincerely,
Environment, Inc
~~~
Stevan L.
