<br />i <br />i <br />i I~ ~ ~ <br /> <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board <br />April 20, 1982 <br />Page 2 <br />3. ~o decision has been made, since the new location of the access road <br />has been agreed upon, as to whether it will be needed by the landowner <br />after mining or not. If the landowner at that time does not want the <br />road, the road will then be reclaimed by Ideal. <br />Reclamation Cos <br />Actual reclamation costs are conjectural at this point. However, Ideal's <br />experience on other projects indicates that their cost has been on the <br />order of $500 per acre. ldith the additional costs of profit, and equipment <br />transportation that the State would have to pay to get the property re- <br />claimed, the $700 per acre figure mentioned in your letter is reasonable. <br />It is anticipated that there would be no more than 25 acres of disturbed area, <br />including roads and process area, at any one time. <br />I hope this answers your questions <br />comments, please call. <br />If there are any further questions or <br />Sincerely, <br />~~ <br />P.
