Conversations with the surfaceowner have resulted in agreement on
points of complaint and by the time you receive this, you should
be in receipt of communication from Mr. Aldon T. Hill, witPldrawing
objection to our permit.
2. Blasting is sporadic, but may be as much as twice a week during
periods of active quarrying.
3. Areas of previous mining have been cleaned up. Condition complained
about by the landowner was the result of an oversight on tFle part of
Ideal and has been remedied.
4. The southern access road, listed as "possible" on the application
map will be the one used for access to the western outcrops at
this time.
Reclamation Plan
1. Disturbed areas will be planted in accordance with the Soil Conservation
Service and Division of Wildlife recommendations.
2. The process area should be reseedable. The quarry floors nlay be
seedable~if the gypsum parts cleanly, in those areas where the dip
is shallow enough to hold the growth media without excessive erosion
until vegetation is established.
X 1 3 i I
