7.7 USE OF EXPIIJ6IVE.S (4.08 <br />• 7.7.1 General Tom,; reirents <br />The blasting conducted at the Trinidad Hasin Mine is <br />carried out by qualified and certified blasters. ~ blasting is <br />done in conformance with the applicable State and Federal laws. <br />7.7.2 Public Notice of Blasting Schedules <br />TBM will publish blasting schedules in the local newspaper <br />before initiating a blasting program. In fact, they have published <br />blasting schedules prior to initiating a blast program for the <br />current operation. Tne notice will be published at least 10 days <br />before starting the program. Hoover, the schedule will not be <br />published more than 20 days before beginning the blasting program. <br />• The schedule will be published and distributed annually. The <br />contents of the blasting notice will be consistent with those <br />required in Rile 4.05.3(2). If the blasting schedule is revised <br />then the appropriate notification of parties will be made. <br />7.7.3 Surface Blasting ~,; rermnts <br />Blasting will normally occur betoen sunrise and sunset <br />unless an unawidable hazard arises which delays the firing of the <br />shot. If this occurs the blast may occur outside the above time <br />schedule. If this occurs then the precautions established in Bale <br />4.08.4(1)(b) will be follood.
