• SECTION 1.0 1999 Annual Reclamation Report
As specified by the revisions (1/3/90) to 2CCR 407-2. 2.04.13; Trapper Mine is submitting an Annual
Reclamation Report for the previous calendar year(1999).
Historically, section 3.5.3 of Trappers mining and reclamation permit required a reclamation map be
submitted to the CDMG annually by March 15. Subsequent to 1988 the map entitled the "Postmine
Contour Map" has changed to 'Reclamation Map." The reclamation maps developed from aerial pho-
tographs taken during the previous fall shows pit advancements, recontoured spoil areas and a historical
account of the previously regraded areas for the year.
The 1999 reclamation map is a composite of the aerial photographs taken in October 1999, and shows
the reclamation performed during 1999 for all areas under bond. Map(s) 1.0 show the aerial extent and
location of mature shrub clumps, disturbed acres, graded acres, topsoiled acres and perennial seeded
acres during 1999. It also shows the location, aerial extent and reclamation year of all previously
revegetated areas, as well as the projected mature shrub clump establishment areas, topsoil stripping
areas and laydown areas for 2000.

1.2 Results
Table 1.1 and Map(s) 1.0 show the 1999 reclamation results. The various reclamation stages
are addressed below in separate subsections.
1.2.1 Disturbed Acres
In 1999, Trapper disturbed 187.06 acres resulting from topsoil salvage for pit advancement,
haulage corridor construction, topsoil stockpile construction, sediment pond construction, and
other miscellaneous activities as approved by the Division.
1.2.2 Backfrlled and Graded Acres
Trapper backfilled and graded to final contour (AOC) approximately 136.88 acres in 1999.
These acres were in Ashmore Pit, Flintlock Pit and Derringer Pit.
1.2.3 Topsolled Acres
Trapper retopsoiled 136.88 acres during 1999 in Ashmore Pit, Flintlock Pit and Derringer Pit.
1.2.4 Seeded Acres
There were 136.88 acres seeded to perennial species in 1999. These acres are in association
with mine pits)advancement.
